The box just came and we literally tore into it! Claudia shreeked with delight and as did the rest of the family. It is more beautiful than I imagined it might be. You are a true artist and a master quilter! Your decision to use the navy and maroon were perfect. I also loved how you took some of the important elements from the front or back of the tee shirt and combined them. Claudia especially loved the fleur de lis on the purple NOLA shirt! | I knew the moment I saw my friend's t-shirt quilt that when my daughter graduated I had to have one made for her. The hardest part was picking out the t-shirts that would mean the most to my daughter. Luckily, Amy was awesome to work with and she was able to include a lot more t-shirts than I thought possible. Amy even created a very special square for my daughter for one her activities by incorporating some of her favorite pictures. I was eager to find someone who would help create something special for my nieces in their time of grief and sorrow after the sudden loss of their father. Shortly after my brother-in-law’s death, my nieces shared their desire to preserve the many T-shirts that their Dad had acquired over the years. | When I saw Amy's quilts I really wanted to have one made as a graduation present for my daughter, but I didn't think I would find enough shirts. But once I started looking I was amazed at how many she had hidden away. I'm so glad I found them, because the quilt is really beautiful and she loved it. I even got one from the college she's attending so that would be on the quilt. Amy is so creative, she is able to take small shirts and ones with small logos and combine them to make great looking squares. I took her suggestions on fabric, and I'm so glad I did.
